Concept and Inspiration: The branding concept for Vino Veloce was inspired by the rich history of the Tour de France, specifically how cyclists used to drink wine during the race. This historical practice was creatively integrated into the brand’s narrative, taking inspiration from the images of cyclists taking wine from wooden trucks in the middle of their races.

Process:

  1. Research: Studying the history of the Tour de France and its unique wine-drinking traditions.
  2. Conceptualization: Combining vintage photography with contemporary illustrations to reflect the brand’s dual focus on history and innovation.
  3. Design: Creating a series of wine labels with different color schemes and designs, each capturing a distinct aspect of cycling culture.
  4. Finalization: Collaborating with the client to refine and finalize the designs, ensuring they were print-ready and aligned with the brand’s vision.

Naming: The wine names, such as “Campionissimo” and “Scalatore,” were carefully chosen based on racing terms to further connect with the cycling theme and appeal to the target audience of sports enthusiasts.
